Japanese stocks are trading higher in a mixed market, with some bargain hunting seen.
Semiconductor-related stocks are higher, with Disco trading up 0.3%, while Tokyo Electron and Lasertec both rise 0.4%. Stocks trading lower include index-heavy SoftBank Group, which is down 0.8%, and Sony, which is 0.4% lower.
Auto stocks, including Toyota and Honda, are also down 0.5% and 0.7%, respectively. The Nikkei Stock Average is up 0.2% at 42275.78.
