Chinese Shares Close Higher on Policy Support; Sinomag Technology Up 5%

(MT Newswires) -- Chinese shares recovered from earlier losses to end in the green on Tuesday, as investor sentiment was boosted by policy support.
The Shanghai Composite Index, the main gauge of Chinese stocks, closed 0.2% higher at 3,830.45. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.3% to 12,901.95.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang chaired a State Council executive meeting on Monday, pledging to intensify counter-cyclical adjustment of macro policies to address emerging economic challenges and meet the country's 2026 growth target of 4.5% to 5%.
The meeting called for accelerating bond issuance and utilization, expediting major projects under the 15th Five-Year Plan and the "six networks" initiative, and advancing upgrades of aging reservoirs and grain depots.
In company news, Sinomag Technologyreceived the second installment of performance compensation totaling 57.2 million yuan. Shares of the ferrite magnets and soft magnetic cores and components manufacturer closed 5% higher Tuesday.
