Brazil Stocks Lower at Close of Trade; Bovespa Down 0.36%

Investing - Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Public Utilities and Electric Power sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa declined 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Bovespa were Natura & Co SA, which rose 3.65% or 0.51 points to trade at 14.47 at the close. Meanwhile, CSN Mineracao SA added 3.27% or 0.20 points to end at 6.31 and Raizen SA Preferred was up 2.34% or 0.07 points to 3.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were 3R Petroleum Oleo E Gas Sa, which fell 5.06% or 1.14 points to trade at 21.39 at the close. Hypera SA declined 3.01% or 0.88 points to end at 28.37 and Cvc Brasil ON was down 2.67% or 0.05 points to 1.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 510 to 400 and 68 ended unchanged.
Shares in 3R Petroleum Oleo E Gas Sa fell to 3-years lows; falling 5.06% or 1.14 to 21.39.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 0.85% to 26.88.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.77% or 45.10 to $2,587.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.76% or 1.86 to hit $69.17 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract rose 1.22% or 3.00 to trade at $249.65.
USD/BRL was down 0.60% to 5.63, while EUR/BRL unchanged 0.08% to 6.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 101.22.
