The Shanghai Composite rose 0.3% to around 3,390, while the Shenzhen Component advanced 0.5% to 10,300 on Wednesday, with mainland stocks rising for the second straight session.
Market sentiment remained positive as China's central bank cut key lending rates for the first time in seven months to boost growth and mitigate trade-related risks, while major state banks lowered deposit rates to relieve pressure from shrinking interest margins.
Investors are also monitoring the ongoing G7 finance ministers' summit in Canada.
Meanwhile, trade uncertainties lingered as China warned it may take legal action against those supporting US restrictions on advanced Chinese semiconductors.
This development overshadowed hopes for a trade deal, with reports showing Chinese firms are exploring alternatives to the US market.
Top performers include Contemporary Amper (4.4%), BYD Company (1.7%), Gotion High-Tech (10%), and Montnets Cloud Tec (4.5%).
