The Shanghai Composite rose 0.2% to close at 3,387, while the Shenzhen Component advanced 0.4% to 10,294 on Wednesday, with mainland stocks climbing for a second straight session to reach a one-week high, led by gains in mining and battery sectors.
Market sentiment remained upbeat after the central bank cut key lending rates for the first time in seven months to support growth and cushion trade-related risks.
Major state banks also lowered deposit rates to ease pressure from narrowing interest margins.
On the corporate front, EV battery giant CATL jumped 4.2% following its strong Hong Kong IPO debut, the largest of the year.
Other battery-related stocks also advanced, including BYD Company (1.3%) and Gotion High-Tech (10%).
Mining shares tracked higher gold prices, with Zijin Mining gaining 4.5%.
Additionally, shares of CMOC Group, the world's top cobalt miner, surged 3% after the firm urged the Democratic Republic of Congo last week to lift its export ban on the key battery metal.
