11th June 2026 - (Hong Kong) Hong Kong equities opened slightly weaker on Thursday morning, with the Hang Seng Index slipping 27 points, or 0.11 per cent, to 24,380. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index eased 6 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 8,312, while the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 9 points, or 0.19 per cent, to 4,715.
Technology stocks delivered a mixed performance in early trading. Tencent advanced 0.9 per cent, while Alibaba declined 1 per cent. Meituan edged down 0.2 per cent and Xiaomi retreated 0.4 per cent. JD.com was broadly unchanged, whereas Kuaishou gained 1.8 per cent.
Financial shares also showed varied movements. HSBC slipped 0.5 per cent, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing fell 0.2 per cent, and AIA Group rose 1.5 per cent. Ping An Insurance traded flat.
