13th March 2026 - (Hong Kong) Hong Kong equities began Friday's session in negative territory, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index opening 133 points, or 0.52 per cent, lower at 25,583.
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index fell 28 points, or 0.33 per cent, to 8,670, while the Hang Seng Tech Index declined 21 points, or 0.42 per cent, to 5,006 at the opening bell.
Among notable movers, Cathay Pacific Airways dropped 3 per cent in early trading, weighing on the broader market.
