Economy: President Joko Widodo signed a government regulation on granting holiday allowances (THR) and 13th salary to state civil servants. THR this year is also given to pensioners. The THR will be distributed in end of May, while 13th salary will be distributed in beginning of July. In the fiscal budget 2018, government has allocated Rp35.7bn fund for holiday allowances and 13th salary, rising by 69% yoy. (Kontan).
 Comment: The number of civil servants reached a total of 4.3. Mln people in 2016, while the retirement is about 2.0 million people. Consumption trend during the Idul Fitri and back-to-school festives this year might be different from last year due to the calendar shift. There are 3-4 weeks gap between Idul Fitrithat fall on June 15-16 this year and the beginning of school term that fall on third week of July, compared to last year where both events were occurred simultaneously, fall on the last week of June.
