Russia stocks lower at close of trade; MOEX Russia down 0.27%

Investing.com - Russia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Power and Mining sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia declined 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia were Tatneft OAO Pref (MCX: TATN _p), which rose 2.39% or 13.00 points to trade at 556.00 at the close. Meanwhile, NMTP (MCX: NMTP ) added 1.69% or 0.1100 points to end at 6.6350 and Ros Agro PLC (MCX:AGRODR) was up 1.33% or 9 points to 685 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aeroflot (MCX: AFLT ), which fell 2.09% or 2.10 points to trade at 98.50 at the close. MegaFon OAO (MCX: MFON ) declined 1.93% or 11.50 points to end at 585.00 and MVideo (MCX: MVID ) was down 1.92% or 7.80 points to 399.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 113 to 91 and 24 ended unchanged.
The Russian VIX, which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia options, was down 7.87% to 26.440.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.02% or 0.20 to $1226.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.65% or 0.40 to hit $61.27 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.75% or 0.54 to trade at $71.53 a barrel.
USD/RUB was up 0.27% to 66.4956, while EUR/RUB rose 0.10% to 75.9562.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 96.06.
